    About This Career Opportunity

    The Memory Care Manager:

    • Will be joining a team of experienced professionals who are dedicated to providing the best in Memory Care, as well as Assisted Living. We use a Montessori-based approach to create rich possibilities for our residents in all stages of life.
    • Oversees day-to-day operations and maintains high quality, innovative programming and services for those residents in our memory care communities.
    • Supervises all staff, develops family relations, provides education to staff and families. 
    • Maintains a person-directed atmosphere of meaningful engagement and community to maximize the holistic wellness of each resident. 
    • Works closely with Health Care Coordinator(s) to ensure that residents’ health care needs are monitored and met by their respective health care providers. 
    • Partners closely with the Director of Clinical Services & Memory Care, and our Memory Care Specialist, providing resources and support to our residents. Collaboration and learning are two of our core values and you will experience them every day.


    Are You Qualified?

    Here's what you need:

    • Minimum of five years experience in dementia care.
    • Minimum of three years in a manager or other leadership role, preferably in a long term care or community based setting.  
    • A degree in creative arts therapy, therapeutic activity, gerontology, social work, or a related field is highly desired.
    • Possesses current First Aid Certification and has working knowledge of Title 22, Division 6, Chapter 8.

    • Sensitivity and knowledge of working with older adults, the aging process and dementia care are essential.

    • Must exhibit initiative, energy, and creativity in developing programming to meet resident needs. 

    • Ability to interact successfully with residents, volunteers, families, and staff.  Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player.
